Globe Derby Park
Sunday Morning Trials
Harness Racing SA conduct Qualifying and Official Trials at Globe Derby Park on Sunday mornings as advertised.Trials will commence at 8:30am with the track being available for "Run Arounds" at 7.00am and mobile practice at 7:45am to 8.00am.Nominations for Sunday Trials will be taken via fax (08) 8285 2961 or phone at the offices of HRSA until 3.00pm on the Friday preceding the trials.Only horses excluded from the barrier draw or stood down on Friday or Saturday night will be included after noms have closed.
When nominating, please state whether your horse is to qualify or have a ban or OD lifted. Trials fee of $10.00 per horse which includes Driver Liability Insurance will be charged to the account of the trainer (as per the normal accounting procedures).
Note: On arrival at the track, trainers (or their representative) will be required to report to the numbers room to advise of their attendance, and to sign the relevant trial sheet next to the name of the horse trialing. It is proposed to conduct the trials at no more than 15 minute intervals and we seek your co-operation in this regard.

SA Trial Conditions
1. A horse may be qualified, reincluded in the barrier draw or have a ban lifted.
2. Trainers are reminded that when nominating for a trial to state whether you are wanting to qualify your horse or have a ban lifted etc.
3. A current Stable Return must be lodged with HRSA Ltd no later than 48 hours before trials dates. Note: If a Stable Return is not lodged, the nomination will not be accepted.
4. Registration Assessment certificates, bar or out of the draw forms (if applicable) must be presented to the Steward/Supervisor no later than 30 minutes prior to the advertised starting time of the trials.
Note: If the relevant documents are not provided, the Stewards will not pass the horse. Horses being presented to qualify will be inspected by the Stewards in the parade yard when the assessment certificate is presented. The freezebrand on the horse must be clearly legible and the brand and markings must correspond with the Assessment Certificate. Please refer to the "Qualification Standards" in the Harness Racer or in the Licence Holders Directory.
Drivers must wear colours, approved footwear, and neat clean trousers, (tracksuits, shorts and stable clothes not acceptable). C Grade (Trials) drivers must wear full racing attire and complete the required details on their driving diary which must be lodged with the Steward/Supervisor prior to driving.
